Current research projects

My current research centers on my dissertation work on later Cartesians, with a particular focus on Malebranche. I examine how these thinkers conceived of the intelligible world, and how this shaped their accounts of human knowledge, the status of ideas, and the nature of the material world.

Beyond my dissertation, I am also interested in the reception of Malebranche in Britain and in the broader history of theistic Platonism.
